Hugging Face Datasets

Browse and search datasets on the Hugging Face Hub without leaving the editor, and import the ones you want into your workspace catalog.

What you can do

  • Search the Hub — open the Hugging Face Datasets sidebar, type a query, and list matching datasets.
  • Import to your workspace — one click downloads a dataset's data files (csv / parquet / json) and adds it to your catalog, ready for the Datasets panel and DuckDB.

Getting started

  1. Run Browse Hugging Face Datasets to open the sidebar.
  2. Type a query and press Enter to search.
  3. Click Import to workspace on a result to download and add it.

Requirements

  • The IVYX desktop app. Downloads run through the host with curl; search runs through the desktop app's HTTP bridge.
  • For gated or private repos, paste a Hugging Face access token in the panel (Settings → Access Tokens on huggingface.co) and accept the repo's license. Public datasets need no token.
