Kernel Explorer

ivyx

Check a kernel's details, its installed Python packages, and whether it is reachable

Kernel Explorer

Take a closer look at any registered kernel endpoint: its details, the Python packages installed in its environment, and whether it's reachable right now.

What you can do

  • View an endpoint's details — label, CPU/GPU type, default status, address, timestamps, and how many sessions are active.
  • List every Python package installed in the endpoint's environment, with name and version, plus a filter box to find one fast.
  • Run a connection test and see the result, including the endpoint's available kernel specs when it succeeds.

Getting started

From the Kernels sidebar, open an endpoint in the Explorer. It opens as a panel for that one endpoint — install it alongside the Kernels extension.

Requirements

  • The Kernels extension and at least one registered endpoint.
  • Listing packages needs an endpoint whose environment can run Python.
