Runtime Kernels
ivyx✓
Point at a remote Jupyter server, and have the connection checked before it is saved
Runtime Kernels
Adds the dialog for connecting remote Jupyter kernel endpoints to the Kernels extension. Install it when you want to run notebooks and flows against a Jupyter server running somewhere else — a lab machine, a container, or a cloud host.
What you can do
- Add a remote Jupyter endpoint by entering its address and, if needed, an access token.
- Edit an existing endpoint's details.
- Get a reachability check when you save, so you know the endpoint is connectable before you use it.
Getting started
Open the Kernels view and choose + Add Kernel → Add Runtime, then fill in the endpoint address and token.
Requirements
- The Kernels extension, which lists and runs the endpoints you add here.
- Works in both the browser and the desktop app.
