Runtime Kernels

Adds the dialog for connecting remote Jupyter kernel endpoints to the Kernels extension. Install it when you want to run notebooks and flows against a Jupyter server running somewhere else — a lab machine, a container, or a cloud host.

What you can do

• Add a remote Jupyter endpoint by entering its address and, if needed, an access token.
• Edit an existing endpoint's details.
• Get a reachability check when you save, so you know the endpoint is connectable before you use it.

Getting started

Open the Kernels view and choose ＋ Add Kernel → Add Runtime, then fill in the endpoint address and token.

Requirements

• The Kernels extension, which lists and runs the endpoints you add here.
• Works in both the browser and the desktop app.
