AI Core (Service)
Register remote LLM models — ones served over the network — so IVYX Studio can use them. This is where you add and edit those models.
What you can do
- Pick a provider and a model from a catalogue that lists what each one offers: when it was released, how much context it takes, what it can do. The endpoint comes with it.
- Point at your own endpoint instead, when you run a model yourself or your team has a gateway.
- Test the connection before you save, so a wrong key is a sentence instead of a failed chat later.
- Edit a model you added.
Your API token is kept in the host's secure secrets store, not in plaintext.
The catalogue
The provider list is served by the IVYX registry rather than shipped in this extension, so a new model reaches you without an update. When the registry cannot be reached, the panel falls back to the copy that came with this extension and says so — it never presents an old list as the current one.
Some providers need a newer IVYX Studio than you are running. Those stay in the list, marked with the version they need.
Where models are managed
This extension owns adding and editing. To see your models, pick which one is active, or remove one, use the AI Cores section of the LLM Capabilities panel.
Getting started
Open AI Core (Service) from the command palette, or from the LLM Capabilities panel's "Add Remote Model" action under AI Cores.
