Kaggle Models

Browse and search AI models on Kaggle without leaving the editor, and import the ones you want into your workspace catalog.

What you can do

  • Search Kaggle — open the Kaggle Models sidebar and search Kaggle's models.
  • Import to your workspace — add a model to your catalog with one click.
  • See the details — each model carries its task, context window, and modalities.

Getting started

  1. Run Browse Kaggle Models to open the sidebar.
  2. Search for a model.
  3. Click Import to workspace to add it to your catalog.

Requirements

  • The IVYX desktop app. No Kaggle CLI, no Python, and no credentials — public models are searched and downloaded anonymously over Kaggle's REST API.
  • A Kaggle username + API key (Kaggle → Account → Create New API Token) is only needed for gated or private models. Store it from the panel when one asks for it; it is kept in the Secret Manager.

Notes

  • Importing brings in a model's metadata only — no weights are downloaded. Manage and run models from the Models panel, which offers a GGUF picker so you download one quantization rather than a model's whole release bundle.
