Output

A bottom-panel log where extensions and the editor print what they're doing — build output, background steps and other status messages.

What you can do

• Read time-stamped log entries, each labeled with the channel that produced it
• Watch new lines arrive as they happen; the view scrolls to the latest on its own
• Clear the log when you want a clean slate

The panel keeps the most recent entries and comes forward automatically when there's new output.

Getting started

Run Open Output from the command palette, then pick a channel from the dropdown.
