Junior Classifier

Teaches a picture sorter from a handful of examples, entirely on this computer. Show it labelled photos, ask it about a new one, and it says what it thinks and how sure it is.

What you can do

• Give it a labelled photo and add it to a group.
• Ask it about a photo it has not seen.
• Read how sure it is about that one answer.
• Read whether the groups have enough to work with at all.
• Find the example that fits its own group worst.
• Move an example to another group, or clear the whole set.

Requirements

It draws nothing. IVYX Learn Junior and Junior Lab are what a child sees; this is the sorter they call.

Getting started

Install it beside IVYX Learn Junior and open File › New Junior Window. The Try it tab in any mission with an experiment is running this.

Two numbers, never mixed up

How sure it is about one photo is not how much the model has to work with. A sorter with three photos of one fruit can be very sure and still have almost nothing behind the answer, so both are reported and they are named apart.

Nothing is downloaded and nothing is sent anywhere: pixels come in as an argument and numbers go out.
